Serviced Design
You’ve seen us talk about it, but what is it?
Serviced Design puts our focus firmly on you and your vision, whether a small extension, a barn conversion or a truly grand design. We do this by:
Listening
We work hard on the relationships at every level, listening carefully to what you want. Recording key decisions clearly and keeping the lines of communication open at all times, we’ll ensure that you know what to expect, and when to expect it.
Great Service
We are happy to provide plans and secure consents, but we love to take our projects further. That means taking the project onto site and through to completion – something many architects avoid because it’s where they often lose money; or they find it less interesting. This is not how we see it.
Our promise is to give you a great design but an equally great service – from beginning to end.
Fixed, lump-sum price:
We always try to offer a fixed, lump-sum price for the whole project from inception. This involves working with contractors we trust and that we know can deliver quality with integrity. This allows us to offer our ‘design, build and manage’ package for those clients who want this.
Experience:
Stephen Waldron leads our practice and has over 35 years’ experience in private, public and the third sector. He has self-built his recent barn conversion and so really does understand the importance of your vision from an emotional, as well as technical perspective. WOW Factor:
Yes, it is a real thing! The architect is expected to deliver a further dimension and we call it the WOW Factor. It refers to enhancing the client’s vision and bringing clarity of form and structure to what may just be a vague idea.
Happy Completion:
Nothing makes us happier than to bring your architectural project through to a happy, timely and on budget completion. Read our Testimonials if you’d like to see how we’ve achieved this on previous projects. You can also view a copy of Stephen’s biography by clicking here.
