Planning for retirement in Swansea
Stephen Waldron Architects have been commissioned to produce a plan for a ‘retirement village’ based around an existing private nursing home in Swansea. Set on the side of a large hill, the site has extensive views; including the beautiful Swansea Bay.
The idea is to develop a facility which is able to house able-bodied independent clients in their own flats, with the full range of support services available to them within the ‘village community’.
Clients will be able to graduate up the level of care to ‘EMI’ (elderly mentally infirm) without leaving the village. In the meantime, Stephen Waldron Architects are significantly expanding the home’s existing dining and lounge facilities and upgrading and enlarging the kitchen and support areas.
If you are a care home owner and would like to talk to Stephen Waldron Architects about enhancing your home for a better client experience and improved profitability, please call Stephen on 01685 647618 or email us directly.
