Permitted Development Rights enables our smallest building yet!
Stephen Waldron Architects has been commissioned to design an ‘executive garden shed’ in Lewisham, London.
Under the Government’s expanded Permitted Development Rights (PDRs) one can erect a fairly substantial building in the garden without planning consent.
In this case it comprises of an office, a shower/wc and a large workshop and store. The family have been accepted as foster parents and need to decant space in the house to free up a bedroom.
The works started on site in late April with a contract value of £18,000.
