Auction property development

A growing area of work is to develop schemes on sites and properties bought at auction by private individuals looking to invest in property to create a more reliable and substantial pension fund.

A recent commission is a 1-acre site in Tylorstown adjacent to the Rhondda river. A flat site, within the settlement boundary, and surrounded by mature trees, the site has the opportunity for two houses for the investors’ family, plus a group of houses accessed at the other end of the site. We’ve  been appointed on two other small sites for the same investor, in Mountain Ash and Treherbert, for schemes of a few houses each. Planning was submitted for 3 terraced houses within a couple of weeks on one, whilst on the other we are negotiating with an adjacent nursing home to provide an extension to their facilities via a possible joint-venture.
